High Voltage Indicator High Voltage Indicator "IVN Protection" - an additional safety measure for the electrician when working at a transformer substation.  The indicator is designed to provide visual and audible signaling of the presence of high voltage on live parts of high-voltage equipment operating at a line voltage of 6–10 kV and a frequency of 50 Hz.
