A metal shank or instep support is a shaped plate made of special steel grades that have undergone heat treatment (hardening). The function of the shank is similar to that of a spring: it supports the foot and forms the stiffness of the heel of any shoe. Elasticity and strength are the main qualities of the diaphragms that our company produces. It is used in the manufacture of men's, women's, children's and orthopedic shoes, as well as used in shoe repair.
