The Institute carries out activities in the following areas:

Development of effective fertilizer systems with resource-saving soil cultivation methods.

The complex application of fertilizers and local agro-ore in adaptive landscape farming, improvement of methods for managing the production process of agricultural crops by agrochemical means.

Improving existing and developing new forms and methods of using local agrominerals in agriculture and crop production.

Investigation of the influence of conventional grinding and nanostructured agrominerals in laboratory, vegetative and field experiments.

Development of technological methods for producing environmentally friendly agricultural products in the area of technogenic pressure.

Prediction of the state of soil microbiocenosis under various systems of using chemical means.

Research work on the development of methods for the integrated use of new forms of fertilizers, biologically active substances, ameliorants, new generation biological products, as well as feed additives created on the basis of nanotechnology.

Innovative research of the Institute is aimed at obtaining and developing technologies for the use of nanostructured and nanocomposite materials in agriculture, crop production, agricultural microbiology, the rehabilitation of oil-contaminated soils, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine.

Studying the effect of nanoscale agrominerals on the growth and storage efficiency of native strains and associations of microorganisms.

Biological reclamation of oil-contaminated lands using nanosorbent and effective microorganisms-destructors found in the natural conditions of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The study of indigenous microflora, the formation of a collection of associative nitrogen-fixing, phosphate-mobilizing and hydrocarbon-oxidizing microorganisms. Creation on their basis of biofertilizers of complex action.
