GCC “SK ZOSP” is the only institution in the Russian Federation engaged in breeding and breeding work with turkeys. Nearly 50 years of activity in the field of breeding and breeding and the constant search for highly effective ways of developing turkey breeding, the station team created three new breeds of turkeys and several crosses; A unique gene pool of turkeys has been collected and preserved.
Today the North Caucasus Zonal Experimental Station has 3 statuses:
Status of breeding and genetic center;
First-order breeding status;
The status of the gene pool economy.
The main activities are:
breeding and breeding, preservation of the gene pool, the creation of new turkey crosses;
turkey hatching eggs production;
incubation of turkey eggs and further reproduction of the herd;
incubation of turkey eggs in order to sell daily and grown young animals to enterprises (organizations) and the population;
fattening young animals for meat;
production of semi-finished products from turkey meat.
