Kirza is a material based on a multilayer cotton or synthetic fabric treated with film-forming substances (rubber, polymer). Used as a skin substitute. The surface of the tarpaulin is embossed to imitate the texture of pigskin. Goes mainly to the production of tops and other shoe parts in the production of workers and army boots.

There are several types of tarpaulin:
Kirza 3K or "Universal" is a universal tarpaulin for work shoes.
Kirza L1 is a wear-resistant tarpaulin for army shoes.
