The open joint-stock company Kotlas Chemical Plant was founded in 1992 on the basis of the Kotlas Chemical Plant. From the time of foundation, the company has come a long and difficult path - the path of formation, the path of development, the path to success. A complete reconstruction of production facilities was carried out, an automated process control system was introduced, the volume of production of chemical products for various industries increased many times. The plant operates in several directions:
- canned varnishes and enamels for the food industry,
- synthetic resins,
- oilfield chemistry,
- products for road construction.
Kotlas Chemical Plant OJSC has three chemical research laboratories, as well as a production laboratory that checks the quality of products, directly at the factory. All products are certified according to the requirements of the Russian legislation, and the quality management system of Kotlas Chemical Plant OJSC is checked and recognized as complying with the international standard ISO 9001: 2011 with regard to the development, production and sale of chemical products manufactured by the plant.

Road products of Kotlas Chemical Plant OJSC:

-Adhesive additives for bitumen;
-Additives for "warm asphalt";
-Activating mixture for the preparation of activated mineral powder;
-Plasticizer for the preparation of polymer-bitumen binders (PBB);
Emulsifiers for cationic and anionic bitumen emulsions;
Non-fire hazardous thinner for preparing cold asphalt;
-Equipment for dispensing adhesive additives at ABZ.
