La Favorita was founded in 1970 as a craft workshop for artistic ceramics under the direction of Mario Datteri, a sculptor from the city of Perugia, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts, whose works can still be seen in some churches in Umbria.
Since 1994, his daughter Roberta, a graduate of the Department of Economics of the University of Perugia, joins Mario Datteri.
A family passion for art and beauty, combined with cultural heritage, for a short time, leads to a significant reorganization of production and sales.
