Vladislav Aksenov is one of the most intriguing designers of St. Petersburg. From his first collections (in 2008 he released his debut men's - Zero, Zero, One, and in 2011 - women's - “Shine and poverty of courtesans”), it became clear that Aksenov would create without regard to fashionable patterns, critics' opinions and commercial success. “I want to create an ambiguous, uncompromising, conflicting fashion that expresses complete freedom against conventions, self-expression against prejudice,” the designer says and regularly launches men dressed in corsets or ceremonial dresses that impress with bright colors and provocative decoration.
