Penza Dairy Plant OJSC (Milk OJSC) is the largest milk processor in the Penza region, operating in the region since 1985.
In 2012, Penza Dairy Plant OJSC joined the Damate Group of Companies. With the arrival of a new owner, the plant began modernizing production facilities that affected all areas from milk reception to shipment of finished products. The goal of the full-scale re-equipment of the enterprise is to expand its assortment portfolio, improve product quality and increase processing volume. In the spring of 2013, the company was expanded through the acquisition of cheese production in Belinsky. The plant with the planned processing capacity of up to 250 tons of raw materials per day was completely reconstructed and in the summer of 2014 in Belinsky the production of semi-hard cheeses “Molkom” began. As a result of the work done in two years, Molkom took the position of the best enterprise in the region in terms of the degree of technical equipment.
Today Penzensky Dairy Plant OJSC, which collectively processes up to 500 tons of milk per day, ranks first in the Volga region in terms of processing volumes.
From the first days of its foundation, Penzensky Dairy Plant OJSC has been focusing on the production of a wide range of top-quality dairy products that satisfy the requirements of a wide variety of consumers. The product range includes over 100 items. The dairy plant adheres to high quality standards in everything, which is confirmed by international quality certificates ISO and HACCP. High quality products have been repeatedly confirmed at international, national and regional exhibitions and competitions. The company has more than 50 honorary awards. In May 2014, “Milk” received the honorary award “Quality Star of Russia”. The company's products are sold in chain stores and retail outlets in the Penza region and a number of neighboring regions.
Today, the company employs over 600 employees. Tracking customer demand, identifying market needs and launching an assortment of products that satisfy the tastes of consumers of various social groups is the main guideline in the development of the plant.
