OJSC Production Association "Novosibirsk Instrument-Making Plant" - production of binoculars, rangefinders and other optical devices since 1905.
From the first steps of the enterprise’s existence, its specialization was determined - equipping the Russian Ground Forces with sighting and observation equipment. During the wars that struck Russia, the plant changed its location several times until it ended up in Novosibirsk. Already here, in the early 70s, the Central Design Bureau of Precision Instrumentation (TsKB "Tochpribor") was organized, and then the Siberian Research Institute of Optical Systems (SNIOS).
Today, three sister enterprises are a unique complex that can solve any tasks related to scientific research, development and serial production of modern optoelectronic devices. The personnel of the enterprises participated in the creation of most of the optical and optoelectronic sights, observation devices and reconnaissance of the Ground Forces of the USSR. In all areas, a great theoretical and practical experience has been accumulated, unique technologies and precision technological equipment have been created.
The current developments use the element base of the 2+ and 3 generation image intensifier tubes, programmable microcomputers, television and thermal imaging equipment with optoelectronic information processing.
Our partners are in Russia among the defense industry enterprises and in foreign countries - traditional importers of military and civilian products.
OJSC “Oil Refinery” is a universal, multidisciplinary association with powerful scientific and technical potential, specializing in the design and manufacture of high-precision laser, optoelectronic and optical-mechanical devices.
Directions of production:
- guidance systems and fire control of self-propelled artillery and BTT;
- BTT observation and driving devices;
- all-day reconnaissance systems for mobile reconnaissance points, including thermal and television;
- day, night, combined and thermal imaging sights for small arms, ground artillery and grenade launchers;
- binocular observation devices with high aperture lenses;
- laser simulators of shooting and defeat;
- secondary power supplies for electron-optical converters;
- manufacturing of high-precision instrumentation for industrial use;
- production of amateur and semi-professional astronomical telescopes.
The output is provided by modern technologies, concentrated in specialized industries:
- procurement - foundry, stamping, forging;
- optical - the manufacture of optical parts from glass, crystals and other optical materials, including polymers and ceramics, with the application of special coatings on the surface of optical parts; machining - processing of parts made of cast iron, steel, light alloys, with an accuracy of manufacture of 6-7 quality and tolerances up to 1.0-1.5 microns;
- finishing - applying galvanic and paint coatings, including polymer coatings; wiring - the manufacture of printed circuit boards, including multilayer and flexible, installation of electronic components using surface mount high density;
- assembly - assembly, alignment, control and testing of devices, including thermal imaging, television, all-day and laser special-purpose devices;
- instrumental - manufacturing of special tools, tooling, dies, molds for aluminum alloys, precision steel casting and composite non-metallic materials; Auxiliary production - printing, woodworking.
