Innovative Technologies LLC (InTech) was established in 2009 by a small group of professionals whose goal was to develop and introduce modern innovative technologies and manufacture products based on composite materials.
The work of InTech specialists began with the design and small-scale production of fiberglass parts for automobiles (elements for tuning the body and car interior), as well as industrial and civil products (tanks, pipes, household goods, etc.). Within a short time, the production of fiberglass parts was mastered to perfection, and the complexity and quality of InTech products began to meet the highest requirements of customers.
The expansion of production capacities allowed us to start organizing our own production of minibuses based on the IVECO DAILY 50С15 van (with a gross weight of 5000 kg). InTech specialists independently developed the design and technological documentation, made equipment and mastered the production of three types of minibuses - urban, suburban and tourist (the total number of seats is not more than 30). All the necessary certification activities were carried out and the Russian Type Approval for all these modifications was obtained.
As a result, the accumulated experience in the production of fiberglass and the huge potential of this material allowed the InTech team to begin developing and implementing a new ambitious project related to the production of a middle-class bus with a total number of seats of more than 30. The young InTech team set itself the task of maximizing the opportunities of fiberglass and create an original bus design that will harmoniously look in a modern city or suburban landscape.
As a result of this work, in 2011 the FOX conceptual model was created, the first show of which took place at the international exhibition ComTrans-2011 in Moscow. The results of the show exceeded all expectations. The bus aroused great interest from experts and visitors of the exhibition and did not leave anyone indifferent. With the light hand of journalists, the bus was called the Nizhny Novgorod Fox.
Representatives of transport companies immediately noted the main advantage of the new bus, consisting in the number of seats (from 30 to 40), which makes it the most cost-effective during operation and allows for self-sufficiency in the shortest possible time.
The results of the first presentation confirmed the correctness of the chosen direction of development for InTech specialists and suggested new solutions for improving the bus (in terms of lighting, interior layout and a set of equipment options).
Over the next year, the work of the InTech team was focused on finalizing the design and production of the first serial samples. The bus was given the new name FOXBUS, which will later be used as a trademark.
In 2013, the FOXBUS (FOXBAS) bus tests were successfully conducted at the NAMI certification institute and received the Russian Type approval of the vehicle for two modifications “suburb” and “tourist” for 17 configuration options, depending on the purpose and layout of the passenger compartment. InTech company began production of FOXBUS buses (FOKSBAS) at its own enterprise located in Vorsma, Nizhny Novgorod Region. The company plans to achieve a pace of assembly of 90 buses per month by the beginning of 2015.
Currently, the company FOXBUS (InTech) continues its work and is constantly engaged in the improvement and search for new engineering solutions in its own developments using the latest development trends in the global automotive industry. We hope that our products will be appreciated by specialists and will be in demand by Russian consumers.
