The history of the ORSK trademark dates back to March 1960, when the first refrigerator came off the assembly line of the Orsk Mechanical Plant.
Production was gaining momentum and on March 26, 1970, the millionth refrigerator left the assembly line. In September 1980, the ORSK-7 refrigerator was awarded the State Quality Mark, and the plant was awarded the Diploma for manufacturing products with a quality mark. In 1984, the plant began producing a new type of Orsk-8 refrigerator. In 1990, the Orsk-112 two-chamber refrigerator, which was more comfortable with automatic defrosting, was mastered.
In 1989, work began on the development of a new type of refrigeration product - freezers. The first ORSK-115 freezers were made in December 1991.
The plant lived in constant development, its experts worked enthusiastically to improve and process technologies, trying to produce competitive products oriented to the market and the consumer. In 1993, the 10-millionth refrigerator rolled off the assembly line and the launch of the new ORSK-416 refrigerator began. In 1994, the production of the Orsk-117 vertical freezer was mastered, and in 1995 the production of the two-compartment refrigerator “0rsk-220” was launched.
Keeping up to date, the plant underwent several reconstructions. And the most ambitious were the reconstruction carried out in the early 80s, with the transition to a new model range, and the reconstruction of 2005 - 2010, which raised the level of production to world level.
