DDM.lab (DDM - Direct Digital Manufacturing - a direct digital production methodology based on 3D printing technology) is a specialized division of Solver , the competence of which for more than 18 years of work extends to additive technologies, scanning, and a set of software means for communication of the virtual and real (physically tangible) world. Starting her collaboration with Stratasys in 1997, Solver was essentially one of the first companies in the Russian Federation to shoulder the difficult task of popularizing the then unknown direction of rapid prototyping (RP - Rapid Prototyping). Numerous presentations, participation in industrial exhibitions, services for the manufacture of prototype parts - all this required considerable efforts, both from us and from the customer. After all, to believe that new plants with a diametrically opposite principle of product creation (when compared with the traditional approach - manufacturing on CNC machines) are able to quickly and efficiently “grow” what the company usually could take for many months or even years - it was very difficult.
