The Valdai Canning Factory was founded back in 1941 to solve the problems of supplying the front during the Great Patriotic War. The Valdai fruit plant began with a small factory on which molasses was brewed. Everything was done manually, with the help of furnaces. But, starting in 1961, the plant began to develop: the enterprise was modernized - a new building of the canning shop and a boiler room were built, and for the first time in the region, the production of sterilized canned fruits and vegetables began.
Every year the plant is modernized and increases its production capacity.
Since 1998, the company Valdai CJSC has been producing fruits and vegetables under its own trademark Valdai Pogrebok. Currently, the product range of TM Valdai Pogrebok is more than 40 items.
