Cast iron grates

Cast iron grates 880 * 220 are used in the furnaces of hot water and steam boilers of low power and are installed directly in the furnace part of the boiler on the ledges of the side walls and grate beams. Their purpose is to support the layer of solid fuel and improve the supply of oxygen to the combustion area.

Openings are made in the grates 880x220, which are for supplying air to the fuel layer and the furnace, and for screening out the formed coal and ash into the ash pan. Stiffening ribs are made at the bottom of the grate.

Grate grates are assembled from cast iron slab grates.
