The thermopanel is a two-layer plate measuring 495x495 mm:
1. Upper protective layer: lime-cement-sand decorative concrete reinforced with fiberglass.
- In the manufacture of panels, the textured layer is spliced with a heater not by gluing, but by mechanical splicing, which allows to obtain the material as a whole.
- Portland cements of at least 500 grades, sand without clay formations and limestone filler, which prevents the formation of fungi and acts as a natural plasticizer in the solution, are used in the texture layer of the panels.
Used propylene fiber or fiberglass gives strength to the textured layer, performing the role of reinforcement
2. The lower insulation layer is made on the basis of expanded polystyrene foam , with the addition of a flame retardant, the flammability class G1 (self-extinguishing) or mineral wool (flammability class NG), is not flammable in contrast to extruded polystyrene (the so-called Penoplex) with class G4 (highly flammable).
