THE PROCESS

WHY IS THE WHITE HONEY IS VERY SPECIAL AND ROYAL HONEY?

The bees collect the nectar only from 1 flower ,named Sainfoin, which grows on top of the mountains only.

Sainfoin flower is one of the main flowers for white honey. It produces Nectar and Pollen for Honeybees and Bumblebees. This nectar is secreted exceptionally freely and is considered one of the highest yielding honey plants. This is one of the few honeys which is purely mono floral in Kyrgyzstan. The flowers of sainfoin attract huge numbers of insects. According to studies, sainfoin can attract ten times more bees than white clover. There are many beekeepers who consider sainfoin honey to be superior to that from any other source. When sainfoin flowers, it is so appealing to Honeybees that they will often ignore all other nectar sources to forage on it. Pollen is also gathered, it being one of the oiliest pollens available. sainfoin flowering in September will be making a big contribution towards bees winter reserves. Flowering time: May, June, July, August, September Kyrgyz honey is mono-floral honey which comes from the bees that feed exclusively on mountain pastures. Kyrgyz honey is famous throughout the Middle East for its distinctive flavour and purity. No chemicals or drugs are allowed in the production process and no machinery is used.We only supply raw honey, which has not been heat treated or pasteurised. These practices have long been used in industrial honey production to maintain shelf-life and consistency, but it also destroys some or all of the health giving nutrients within the honey itself.

The benefits of honey don’t just stop at the satisfaction of our taste buds. The powerful healing attributes of honey have long been used to promote health and healing. Both the holy Quran and Hadith's (Prophetic traditions) refer to honey as a healer of disease. In the Quran we read, “And thy Lord taught the bee to build its cells in hills, on trees and in people’s habitations... there issues from within their bodies a drink of varying colours, wherein is healing for humankind. Verily in this is a Sign for those who give thought.” Additionally, in Sahih Bukhari we read that the Prophet, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, said: “Honey is a remedy for every illness and the Quran is a remedy for all illness of the mind, therefore I recommend to you both remedies, the Quran and honey.”

Honey is sometimes thought to be as effective (or more) in suppressing coughs as over-the-counter meds. A 2010 study found that children with upper respiratory infections experienced greater relief from a 2.5 ml serving of honey before bed than from over-the-counter cough suppressants.
All forms of honey naturally contain nutrients and enzymes, which have a variety of health benefits and medical uses. In fact, honey has been used as a folk remedy for many conditions throughout history.
There are several different types of honey. The taste and colour of honey, and the exact nutrient content, depends on where the bees collected it. It also depends on which types of flowers it came from

What is raw honey?

True raw honey comes straight from the beehive. It’s packaged and consumed without adding any heat It’s a pure, unfiltered and unpasteurised sweetener made by bees from the nectar of flowers. Most of the honey consumed today is processed honey that’s been heated and filtered since it was gathered from the hive. Unlike processed honey, raw honey does not get robbed of its incredible nutritional value and health powers. It can help with everything from low energy to sleep problems to seasonal allergies. Switching to raw honey may even help weight-loss efforts when compared to diets containing sugar or high fructose corn syrup.

1. Antioxidant powerhouse

Raw honey contains antioxidants called flavonoids and phenolic compounds. White honey also contains such antioxidants. Antioxidants help to protect your body from cell damage due to free radicals.

Free radicals contribute to the agin process. They may also add to your risk for chronic conditions like cancer and heart disease. Studies show that polyphenols in honey, particularly raw natural honey, may play a role in preventing heart disease.

If you’re looking for an alternative to sugar, honey provides a healthier way to satisfy your sweet tooth while getting extra antioxidants into your diet. White honeys have a mild taste, making them ideal for baking or snacking.

2. Cough stopper

Honey can be used as a cough suppressant. It’s also been used as a sore throat remedy. The next time you have a cough or a cold, try adding honey to warm tea with lemon.A study in the Journal of Complementary and Alternative Medicine found that for treating a cough, honey is as effective as dextromethorphan a common over-the-counter cough medicine ingredient. You can also eat 1 or 2 teaspoons of raw honey with a spoon.

3. Protective phytonutrients

Phytonutrients are compounds found in plants that help protect the plant from harm. They keep plants safe from insects and disease and shield the plant from harsh UV radiation.
These compounds have both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. They can also have a positive effect on your health. Honey is made from plants, and it has phytonutrients. These valuable nutrients are unique to raw honey and are destroyed when honey is heavily processed.

4. Skin care and wound healing

Honey has been used throughout history as a way to heal skin wounds. Today, you can also find it as an ingredient in beauty products.
Research shows that raw honey can kill harmful bacteria and fungus. It naturally contains hydrogen peroxide, an antiseptic.

5. Easing digestive issues

Historically, honey has been used to treat digestive issues such as diarrhoea and ulcers. Peptic ulcers occur in the stomach or digestive system. Taking 1 to 2 teaspoons of raw honey on an empty stomach is said to soothe pain and help with the healing process.
