Labradorite is an igneous basic rock from the gabbro family of grayish-white, dark gray or almost black color, which consists of the labradorite mineral and other admixtures of minerals. Labradorite can be of different structure: full-crystalline, evenly crystalline or coarse. The texture of the stone is massive. A dense intrusive rock with a blue tint on the edges of the composing crystals is a real aesthetic color, which makes this natural stone look completely artificial.

Pokostovka is the name of the granite from a deposit in the Zhytomyr region, - the village of Pokostovka, where blocks of this gray stone, which has won the recognition of the most beautiful gray granite in Ukraine, are covered. A clear texture pattern and a dancing light gray color - a real classic of gray granite, and this is the stone of the Pokostovsky deposit. It was not for nothing that he was given the Ukraine Gray marking. The rock layers lie in such a way that they can be mined in huge monolithic blocks, and this is another advantage - uniqueness. What is the difference between Pokostovsky granite and red rocks? - Distinctive features of the stone are specific density, strength and moisture resistance. These indicators for Pokostovka are much higher than for red granites, therefore products from this granite ( ritual monuments and other products) are a guarantee for centuries! At the same time, over the years, it does not lose its elegant uniform saturated color.

Granite of the Kapustinsky deposit is highly valued for its physical composite advantages, as well as for its external beauty, since only Labradorite can be compared with it for its aesthetics and richness, decorativeness of the pattern. The original and known until now the place of extraction of this type of stone is the village of Kamenny Most in the Kirovograd region. For making monuments , as a rule, it is used only in combination with black stone. To a greater extent, this beautiful stone is used as a building facing material.
