The linear type labeling machine is designed for sticking a circular paper label on the cylindrical part of metal cans filled with product. The machine is equipped with two automatic label feeding mechanisms. Principle of Operation A continuous stream of cans flows through an inclined chute to a distance roller that divides the stream. Further movement of the separately moving cans is carried out by a V-belt. The rollers of the glue bath are applied to the cylindrical surface of the can with hot melt glue in the form of small marks. With their help, the bank selects a label from the store, with cold glue already applied to its end, and wraps it over itself. Smoothing the glued paper is performed by a special pillow. Cold glue pumps a pump, which periodically drives the can itself through a lever-ratchet mechanism. The price of a labeling machine for bottles is determined by the number of standard sizes of cans used.
