Power chopper Consists of a frame, a chopping mechanism, a drive. The frame is a welded structure of channels and corners, on which the shredder body and drive are mounted. The shredding mechanism is a set of knives, nine of which are movable and twenty are stationary. The movable knives are fixed on the shaft with dowels so that their outer cutting edges form a discontinuous helical line. Fixed blades are bolted to the body. The shaft rotates in four radial bearings installed in the shredder housing. The axial load that occurs during operation is taken up by the thrust bearing. The shredder housing is a cast split structure, both halves of which (upper and lower) are bolted. The body is closed with an apron. The drive includes an electric motor and a gearbox, interconnected by a coupling. A loading chute is installed in the upper part of the body, interlocked with a starting device that stops the electric motor when the loading chute is removed. The raw material loaded into the tray falls between the movable and fixed knives of the chopping mechanism, is crushed and fed by the movable knives to the unloading hatch.
