Адсорбер CO2 представляет собой устройство, которое удаляет из холодильных камер углекислый газ, а также некоторое количество этилена. Адсорбер CO2 содержит активированный уголь, который связывает молекулы углекислого газа, когда воздух из камеры хранения пропускается через адсорбер.  Помимо панели управления, с помощью которой программируются параметры работы для всех холодильных камер, адсорбирующее устройство оснащено системой которая не позволяет попадать кислороду воздуха в камеры во время некоторых циклов работы скруббера CO2.  Регулировка скорости работы вентилятор низкого давления позволяет понизить энергопотребление системы, что является важным преимуществом, поскольку адсорбер может работать большую часть суток.  Учитывая то, что интенсивность дыхания различной плодоовощной продукции неодинакова и объемы хранения на разных объектах индивидуальны, адсорберы CO2 производятся с разной производительностью, что позволяет удовлетворить потребности всех заказчиков.
