The vessel is made of transparent matt polypropylene, a material resistant to chemicals. The exception is very strong oxidizing agents, such as concentrated fuming nitric acid, oleum, and halogens. It is also not recommended to use the product for measuring the volume of organic solvents.

The graduated cylinder should be used for liquids at room temperature because it was calibrated at + 20 ° C. The vessel can be sterilized by boiling.
